Graham,
that is brilliant,....that's one of those "why didn't I think of that" ideas.
I'm always struggling to get the stems in the vase, so making the vase around the stems would be just perfect!

Nice and clear instructions by the way.:D

Very nice Graham...I too like the idea of building the vase around the stems...good thinking.

Do you know if there are instructions on how to make those particular flowers anywhere? I have seen lots of instructions for other flowers, but not those ones.

Love the vase by the way.

I'm sure graham will be able to point you in the direction of his 2nd DVD with those flowers on it!!! Very reasonably priced as well

Hi Graham

This is going to be a huge help, I have to make a vase for Monday.
I was wondering, is there a tutorial for the flowers, they look really cool.

thanks Andy

This section was put up by someone else that wanted to remain annonimous, the flowers are an 8 petal 160 with the front side of one fold going into the centre of the next fold and the other side of the fold going into the centre of the previous fold. So instead of each fold being upright it is at about 45 degrees and the fold on either side keep it in place.
Hope this helps although it may have made things worse!

This coming up again is very timely, I have to make one of these for Wednesday. Nice tip of tying the green 106q's first.

I have been turning the petals at 45° after Graham show this of at the Bishop Stortford Care and Share day, So simple but effective, and was one of those "doh, why didn't I think of that" moments.

It was great to learn new models, and techniques at the Care and Share day, but the really priceless part was all the silly, simple hints I picked up.
