OK I understand the theory of how to do this but I have real problems extracting my finger!  The balloon often develops a hole and then deflates, not quite the look I am going for.  The balloon always ends up really tight on my finger.  I have managed this twist a few times but more by luck than judgement, more balloons have ended up in the bin rather than as a model.  Any ideas on how I can part myself from my balloon without causing a leak?

Put your finger in your wet tongue ( or in water) before doing this   . Oscar

Hi Oscar,  thanks for the suggestion but I have already tried this and it didn't seem to help me much.  I think I must have odd fingers!

no, I have the same problem as well, and now don't over-inflate the balloon. This makes it easier to extract my finger.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions, not inflating the balloon does seem to help, I just need to do this slow and gentle and then the success rate improves.

You should try doing tulup twists in 646's, where your whole fist goes in  :D  :D  :D
