Hi,

Does anyone know how to change a web title so you don't have to add .html or .htm at the end of the address?

For example, if you go to the BBC website and listen to radio 2, you just type in http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2

I would like to to add pages on my site like http://www.billywiz.biz/venues but at the moment, it says http://www.billywiz.biz/venues.htm

I hope this makes sense. Thank you for any possible help. :)

Hi Billy,
To achieve what you are after I think, but not sure, you have to make a new directory on you web server called venues and then place the venues.htm page in that directory.
Your ULR would then look like http://www.billywiz.biz/venues I'm not sure if you need to name the venues page index.htm or if you can leave as venues.htm once it is placed it the new directory. Hope this make sense.

Thank you Geoff,

You were correct, I had aslo found the information with a search on the net, a bit confusing at times, but once I worked it out it was quite easy.

Thanks again
