Hi All

My web-site has just recently gone live to the big wide world and I would appreciate any comments before I see my friend who is doing it next week.

Due to family problems it went up before some glaring spelling mistakes and typo errors were corrected, so I know most of them, but you may spot some I didn'd, mostly in the FAQ section

Also there is no gallery yet. Is one needed, or are there enough pics. Technically we cant do Little pics that can be enlarged, so maybe a slideshow ?

Anyway, I look foreward to your replies, as imput from people who have stuff out working for them would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time :)  :)

I really like your website. Nice and clear design, great pictures!

I only really noticed two things in the FAQ, but as you said you possibly already know about them.

QuoteHow far in advance do I have to order my balloon sculpture?

For a more complaex piece, or a large party order of table decorations, the sooner, the better.  We want you to have something super-special, and we take the utmost care to ensure your design will be just perfest for your special occasion.  At busy times, such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, please allow at least a week's notice.

This part didn't have it's own section, and the word perfect spelt incorrectly. But that's about all I can see so you've done a good job lol

All the best with your website! <3

Just took a look at your site, here's what I thought:

At the bottom of your home page, you say, "Thank you for taking the time to browse our website.  Please contact us if we can help you in any way at all." but there is no phone number or email address listed on your homepage for people to contact you.  Better yet, put in an email link or comment form so they can email you just by clicking the link.

On your "Events and Special Occasions" page you have alot of pictures of balloon sculptures that relate to the special occasion or event listed, but there are NO pictures of you WORKING one or more of these events.  Is your main focus selling balloon delivery pieces, or are you trying to get booked for these events?  If it's the latter, you want your customers to be able to visualize what it will be like to have you at their party or event.  There are LOTS of balloon twisters, but only YOU can make their party an event to remember.  You need them to see that.  If it's the former, consider changing the name of the page to something like, "Balloon Sculptures for any Occasion".  Also, still no contact information yet.

The "Characters and Cartoons" page is excellent.  It shows exactly what you said it would show.  (Though still no contact information.)

Obviously there is contact information on your Contact page, but internet surfers are notoriously lazy.  If you don't constantly put your phone number and email address "in their face", they either won't see it, or they won't use it.

As it currently stands, your "Events and Special Occasions" page is actually your Gallery.  You want a page to be relevant to that page's title/name.  If the page is going to be called, "Events and Special Occasions", then that's what you should be advertising there instead of showing pictures of balloons.  Do you do any Balloon Decor or Entertaining at parties?  This is where you should be showcasing these aspects of your business.

Some other pages you might consider creating:
Special Request form
References
Links
Comments
Reservation/Cancellation policy
Shipping Policy
About Me
Blog
Kid's Activity Page

If you need any help with HTML, please feel free to ask.

Cheers!
Very Sincerely,
Dr. B.A.Loonatic
