Please post away your version of a bike/motorbike or have a go at making the one I've posted.
Looking forward to seeing all the different versions.

Its a wet and miserable Bank Holiday Monday so in true tradition I have mucked about with a motorbike, actually off out to the garage in a bit to sort out a real one. This is less mucky though.
Here is an attempt at this challenge  :o

I have placed my order with Graham for black 260 so as soon as I get them I will do some of the other bikes I do. But the blacks I have at the moment are bursting as I blow them up they are on there way to the bin as I speak.

Billy love the chopper.

Billy

Your bike has everything you need in a sculpture to my way of thinking as it's;
Quick, Easy & Impressive which then let's you get on with entertaining the crowd.
I will definately be trying this one, thanks for posting it Billy ;)

This is a Bike I made about at least 9 years ago as the pic was taken in my old house (not digital had to scan it). It uses my favourite silver balloons for the engine and pipes. I have just a few left they were made by BSA (long rest there soul). The ones I have left are at least 7 years old and on the occasions I use them they never seem to burst.

I had a go at Billy's bike with 260s and a 5" round. Quite happy with this for a first attempt.
Blacks have just arrived :) so nice black tyres from now on.

And with 350 260s 11" stars around and well it was just crying out for someone to take it for a spin round the block.

One we did a few years back, based on the idea of David Grist using a seat in the centre so it could be used for photos: Not all twisted as some of it was framework and 5" clusters: We had to create a replica of a bike that was made by Harley  to the owners specifications for them to travel the route 66 on, the bike had been shipped back to the states before the party took place so as to be ready when they arrived: So after many photos and views we built it: As I have not learned how to upload photos yet have put the link to the webiste photo instead: (you may have to cut and paste it if it has not worked as a link.

Well I had to have a go and here is my take on one of the previous models. I stretched it out a bit and slung on some old school ape hangers, to give it that early Cali Chopper look

Also, you're right Billy that 'American Chopper' is a good program to watch for inspiration on balloon bikes, I heard it said on one episode that a good rule of thumb to stop a bike looking too confusing is to keep the petrol tank the same colour as the mudguards.
