As a new twister I have recently started purchasing products related to the business side of balloon twisting. Here is my informal review.
$10,000/year Part Time Teaching Balloon Twisting $20.00 plus shipping
This is a system to teach you how to hold beginning balloon twisting classes at your local libraries for fun and profit.
Shipping-I was very impressed with how fast the shipping was. I think maybe 3-4 days tops. Hint-That was the only thing I was impressed with.

Quality-I am aware that most of the balloon twisting dvds out there are produced by hardworking everyday people who just want to share their knowledge and be able to support themselves doing what they love. Obviously these dvds' are not going to be the same quality as something produced by a major studio. That being said this was the worst product I have ever spent money on.

To begin with the dvd kept freezing up every 5 minutes or so. Then it completely shut down 3/4 of the way through. In other words physical problems with playing the dvd.

Content. It appears Mr. Regling shot this in his bathroom. He is sitting down(on what I don't know) with a background comprised of those 2 x 2 green bathroom tiles. The camera angle is somehow off so it appears as if the background is slanted at a 45 degree angle over his head. To top it off the bottom of the video appears to be a bunch of broken up pixels like we used to have on vhs tapes that had been played one too many times. He must have originally planned to edit the tape and then decided it was too much effort as there are several spots on the video where he messes up and then freezes for a couple of seconds before starting again as if nothing happened. At one point he actually freezes and does a three count on his fingers.

There is a second dvd with examples of letters and flyers that he uses. These are okay but with just a little bit of effort he could have made them editable so you could easily use them for yourselves.

The whole basis of the system is that he will provide you with starter kits for your students for only $5.00. You then charge $20 per student for materials. Sounds Great. Sadly the dvd is so poor that there is no way I am going to trust this gentleman to send me a kit of anything of any quality. I have a horrible feeling that if I was to spend the minimum of $100 dollars on kits I would end up with kits that I would be too embarrassed to use. He also breaks up bags of balloons and sells them to his customers as bunches of 25 balloons for 5 bucks. And he suggests you can do the same. Really.

After filling out the contact form with my complaints I started looking at the website and realized it is probably owned by Mr Regling himself. Of course I haven't received any kind of reply at all. What really makes my angry though is this is what is on the website regarding complaints

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: It is our policy to guarantee our products and services 100%  Honesty, integrity and Christian values direct all our business practices. We may make mistakes, but we will fix them.

If you know of anyone who feels they have been treated unfairly, or is otherwise unhappy with a transaction with Magic Marketing, its partners or employees, please have them contact us. We will do our best to fix the problem.

Gee, wonder why they haven't replied. Googled his name and there are some other complaints against him. The only good that has come out of this purchase is that I am now inspired to create my own starter kits for students that may cost me a little more but at least I can stand behind them. In closing I would recommend avoiding products from Dennis Regling and  mymagicrabbit.com
