Title: 'Dud's' and quality
Post by: cometomyparty on October 06, 2013, 07:18:26 PM
I have just made a post on 'where to buy' after receiving a lot of 'duds' lately from the Trade Only balloon website I use and their customer service being rather unhelpful. I am wondering though just how many 'duds' I should expect to find in a pack of say 100 260Qs? By duds I mean those with pre-existing holes, or joined at the end to another balloon. Packs I have received lately have had 10 - 15 duds in some packs which for the price I find unacceptable, but maybe my expectations are too high?
The thing is, the price with VAT seems to be over 25p cheaper per pack with the site I currently use than direct with Qualatexballoons uk website. Would it be worth the extra and would I get better quality or would it be much the same?
I would love to hear people's thoughts. THanks! Kerry

Are these Qualatex balloons?  Was it only 1 pack like this? I can't recall having that many faults in 1 pack of qualatex balloons!

Yes they are Qualatex balloons. I have had 2 packs of Perriwinkles like this, one pack of Orange and one pack of Green in my last couple of orders. Plus a few other odd ones with holes and joins. I just don't know how many faults you can expect to find out of 100 really. If direct to Qualatex gives a better quality then I will pay the extra I suppose but was interested in other's experiences. Thanks! x

Hi
It wont matter where you buy them from as all come from Pioneer in the first place. Have you actualy counted the amount of balloons as frequently there is more than a 100 n a packet?

I have got the ocashonal bags with a few duds but most of the time have no problem at all.

Pink 260s seem particularly short at the moment.
