I was doing a two hour party this afternoon and during the second section after tea while playing games &
dancing big sister came into the room shouting,
"The ice cream van's here"
I cant say that I've ever done a party before where they've hired an ice cream van to turn up.
What surprised me was that out of the 25 children only 20 ran off to get the ice cream.
Still there's a first time for everything :lol:

I was not even aware you could book a Ice Cream van.  I know you can get them for fetes and the like but not a private event.

They probaby had a kebab van booked for later.
Might be quite a good thing to shout at the end of a gig when you're trying to get away, just shout 'there's free ice cream that way'.

I've traded cards with the ice cream man that comes around here. He says he gets booked for private parties on a regular basis.
