Ok, I didn't know about this until today, so you may already know, BUT Twist & Shout is allowing us to pick the location for 2014 T&S over at their facebook page //http://www.facebook.com/pages/Twist-Shout-Balloon-Convention/175743642435780  (the post is on January 11).  It could take place in ORLANDO, FL (my pick by far), Rochester, NY, or Burlington, MA.  Please go vote.....for Orlando, or wherever you want.  I won't be mad and we can still be friends!

I absolutely love going to Orlando for the Florida Super Jam and I am sure Twist and Shout would be well attended if it were there,
but I really like the opportunity available for people with the two balloon events taking place in different areas of the United States.  

I really like the idea of New York because of the build with Larry and because it will make attending Twist and Shout more afforable for some Twisters out of Canada and the New England area to attend.  

This new choice of Orlando also makes me curious.  I know for years Paul Ballenger tried to convince them to go to Orlando with Twist and Shout, now that there is The Florida Super Jam there, there really is no need to hold a Twist and Shout there when there are plenty of other warm weather choices that would still make it possible for a different area of Twisters to get a chance to attend one and absorb all the great learning opportunities.  

The politics of the Balloon World make me just as sad as World Politics.....

Absolutely no need to have 2 events in 1 location only a month apart. I thought it seemed a little strange also...

I think NY has got to make it easier for us Europe folk too.
