The Balloon Artistes Guild membership runs from 1st April 2017 till the end of March 2018.
There will be 10 Care & Share Balloon days.
We hold three two day events and have six star lecture days with three of them being filmed for club members.
The other four days are generally workshops run by club members or myself.
I also try to run a couple of basic balloon modelling days and members are welcome
to attend these as well within the club fee.
We do try to get some of the top names in the balloon twisting world over to the UK.

I'd like to know more about this. What's the membership cost, and do you offer "accreditations"?
In the last few months I've been spending a lot more time on balloon modelling - with 18 years of experience, I'm no novice.
Mostly I've concentrated on magic, puppets, and music, but balloons have always been a big part of my business too. It would be an advantage for me to take this skill to the next level....

These are all the excess DVD's I have acquired over the years. I know some have said to
sell them etc but that agreement with lecturers was they were only for club members.
The other suggestion was to offer a DVD to new members, a nice idea but what about the loyal old member?
I did not think that was fair and the club is only 150 pounds for up to 10 days so what more
does one need to do to entice a few new members so to speak.
I still think the BAG membership is the best deal around, maybe I'm biased though?
They will be destroyed tomorrow so you have 24 hours to come up with a great idea.
At the moment I'm going to scratch them up and give to Thelma for her cake base idea.

Just taken the master copy from the Doctor Bob day down to Lord G for editing.
It will be ready for the next star lecture day in November.
How does membership work for BAG? Is there a sensible time to join, or once membership is paid does that mean we can attend the following 10 care and share days? If I'm not too late, I'd like one of the DVDs you're going to destroy.

Membership goes from 1st April till the end of march,
it would be un manageable if people were joining all through the year and trying to fit in 10 days for everyone.
It's still a saving joining now and you would still get the three DVD's for this year, we have a minimum of seven
more days planned for this coming BAG year.
We also have a DVD only membership if required and you can buy a full year of previous BAG DVD's
if you wish but I only have a few left now.
Thanks Graham, I'll be a bot more on the ball and join for a full year next year. I'll see if ai can get to any of the days that are planned thus far.

I have the master copy DVD back from Lord G.
Will have a look during the week and then send it off to the duplication centre.
I have just sat and watched the Doctor Bob master DVD from July.

We are going to add to the artwork on the back cover and onto the artwork on disc,

Not For Re-Sale
This is due to ex members selling their DVD's, this is not fair to the artistes
running the workshops as the agreement we have is they are for club
members only and will not be sold, then ex members sell the DVD's.
I'm a little upset about this really.
The Doctor Bob DVD's have arrived, we will send out the international members
over the weekend and then bring the others to Birmingham on 20th & 21st Nov.
I think I mentioned this before and sad that we have had to do this,
can you see what we now have printed on the DVD and cover?

It was brilliant to be there yesterday in Birmingham, catching up with old friends (I don't mean old as in old as we are all young in heart) and seeing Wallie's excellent workshop, lots of original ideas and approach and good to get a few bigger balloons out too.
It was fun and a riot of a laugh, thanks for the star prize David, appreciated.
