It was this day back in 2008 that we had the idea to start the balloon forum.

Well probably a few months earlier to be honest but by the time we worked things out and decided
on a template it was 1st April and seemed a fitting time to start.

The balloon artistes guild also started up on the 1st April and is now starting it's 7th year.
 
Back then I had no idea with technology and did not even know how to send an attachment in an email.

Neil joined before I even realised people could and then Wim came to the rescue and set the forum up for us.
Thank you.

And in that time there have been 100's and 1000's of pictures, topics, conversations, posts etc etc.

Thank you to all who have contributed and made balloon chat what I like to think is an excellent resource for balloon artistes.

I wonder what the coming weeks, months and years will bring?


Today is also the anniversary of the passing of a very dear friend,
