I have the chance of getting over to the UK David Brenion, Mr Dave Twister, 3 Ring, nifty balloons, his website; http://www.niftyballoons.com/ (http://www.niftyballoons.com/) and portfolio; http://mrdave.balloonhq.com/ (http://mrdave.balloonhq.com/)
He does go under a few names but is a very talented twister and was at TMJ in November and will be in Paris on the 11th April so could come over to the UK for the day I have already got planned in Banstead on the 13th April.
Looking to see if there is demand as in the past when I have brought people over from the US the turn out has been low and we do need to cover our expenses on the trip.
Cost wise depends on how many we get through the door but at £25 a head I would need 30 people to book for the day just to cover the expenses.

I too met David at TMJ and he is one up and coming Balloon Dude!
His creations are fantastic and he is a great guy too, in fact is totally awesome!

Argh! It can be a pain living so far away from 'the beautiful south' ;) sometimes....
I saw David's work at TMJ and have viewed many of his youtube videos (sadly no longer available) and I can vouch for the fact he is very talented. If you are thinking of going - don't. Just go ahead and book it!!

The event is not confirmed yet so have no idea what he will share but you know from his portfolio/website that it will be good, the day on the 13th was already planned for Banstead and it fitted in wih David's plans. If we were to go up North we then have to add on two extra travelling days and hotels so making the event even more costly.
Still nothing confirmed as yet but if the day does go ahead I was thinking of using this payscale. Thoughts and comments appreciated.
The day will be £40 to attend, if 20 people book you will get a £5 off voucher, if 25 people book you will get a £10 off voucher and if 30 people book there will be a £15 off voucher.
All training days are tax deductable
Having met David I would be interested in the day.
I think the price scale is a good idea.

Have now booked and confirmed David for Wed 6th April in Banstead. Will put booking details up ASAP, the day will be £35 to attend or "FREE" to members of the UK Twisting Club.

Apologies for having two sessions in Banstead within a week of each other, I was trying to book David for the 13th but he had other commitments and as I already moved the 13th April date once thought it was unfair to move as some people had booked time out to attend this event.
