Thelma and I were up London all day yesterday for a very long day photo shoot for the magazine "Esquire" which is for there October edition that will be out on Sept 14th.
It's for the autumn clothes collection and will be a 9 page spread with balloons on every page  :D
It was a great day and they really looked after us both with breakfast, snacks, drinks, lunch etc etc and even strawberries and cream. We have seen some of the shots and are both really looking forward to seeing the final layout.
They also shot a two minute DVD that will be going onto there website with instructions and links on how to make a balloon model, so hopefully some good publicity all around.
We have plenty of pictures to re-size and up load but I'll wait till Thelma posts some and then add the odd one or two from the day.

Thank you Graham for inviting me along for the photo shoot.  I thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was a good experience.  The preceeding day was spent designing various body parts ranging from simple to more intricate and from comedy to serious.  We did not know what the expectations were so we wanted to me prepared to produce whatever style they wanted.

As it turned out they decided that less was more for the head.   Graham designed some wonderful skeleton hands and feet.  The feet were a real problem.  We didi lots of feet but were never quite satisfied.  In the end Graham came up trumps and I have to say I absolutely love his feet. We don't have photos of the actual clothes in the photo shoot because that would have been out of order but we had a play of our own.  Here are some photos.   I am still cropping and editing the backgrond out of some photos so will have more.

I'm afraid you have to have all the background with my pictures as I'm not very good with photoshop, Thelma keeps showing me but I just seem to forget everything.

I just love these;

And even more photo's  :D

The first one of the feet is possibly my favourite shot of the day, not sure why. Although we seem to have got loads of really nice pictures from the day. The skeleton after a heavy drinking session and the cool mf with the machine gun that we videod for the esquire website. Take a close look at those fantastic shoes that Thelma came up with on him.

As I said, we were trying ideas out the day before the shoot.
Here is a hand and some attempts leasing up to it.  We were asked to do hands with knuckles and I wanted to do it without the pinch twists showing too much.  So the fingers were made and then pushed into another balloon.  The same was done with the hand to make a skin.
