Having nearly taken someones eye out with my floor pump while carrying it on my back, I have created this custom engineeered nozzle safety cover.

That is very strange as well as this is something I was just thinking about and mentioning to my wife this same day this morning
not the concept with the duck though but just considering something more traditional like a rubber bung

What a great little picture I think it's a great idea. I do something similar though only when my pump is at home. I have a puppet that I got last year and when my pumps not in use at home I shove the nozzle up his hand hole . Will have to post a picture as long as I don't get reported to the puppet welfare society
