Many years ago I was on a show called pot of gold with Des O'Connor, they had I think 5 acts on the main show and then 6 wannabees doing a short 30 secs with two progressing to the main show. This has come up as I was on the show with Paul Burling the impressionist who got through to the final of Britians Got Talent. Someone got in touch from Thailand to tell me that they had seen the clip.

I'll have to get out my Armando Iannucci tapes when I was on Gash which was a political satire show a few years back as well. I had to make a balloon model of something topical from the day with normally only two hours to prepare it.

No I used to work that fast and the quicker you move the harder it is for someone to throw something at you. I have slowed down a lot but I think that may be due to age  :lol:
