Thank you for the birthday wishes.  Someone did make something nice for me. My daughter Natalie came round with a bottle of wine and some fruit and made me Sangria.  We sat in the garden and had a nice afternoon drinking it and chatting but unfortunately it went right to my head and I got very drunk.  I thought that all that was in it was one bottle of wine - it tasted very like pop.  But I have found out that she added a few other ingredients to it which were a bit strong.  So I got too drunk to go out for a meal and had to go to bed to sleep it off.  Bit embarassing but as it was my birthday no one got angry.  I needed the sleep anyway.  I had had two sleepless nights before.  The previous night i was up in the early hours having given up trying to get to sleep and doing a pile of ironing.  Maybe that is why I was drunk and my daughter was stone sober.   Ah well......  There is a warning to you all,,, never buy Thelma alcahol............ I just can't hold it.
