I just got rid of Graham a couple of hours ago!!!!
He came to stay with me and my family for a couple of days and I think he might be a bit hungover from listening me to yapping non stop whilst he was here.  We did however have a wale of a time with a good deal of brain storming and working out some interesting problems and ideas.  Enjoyed every minute of it.  I am sure he will confirm about his aching ears.  Poor man.  I can't post pictures at the moment but will when I get my laptop back.

If anyone is going to spend some time with Thelma then may I suggest ear plugs, blimey she can talk for England. If talking was an olympic sport Thelma would be representing the Uk at the 2012 games and walk the gold medal, but..........................................
WOW what an amazing buzz it was, I have a magazine photo shoot tomorrow and they asked for something that was a bit of a challenge. We have to put real live undamaged flowers inside balloons, this was slightly more of a challenge than what we anticipated but between us we have worked the problem out and all is set for tomorrow.
I dont think I've had such a challenge and got such a great buzz out of working through all the problems, for some reason Thelma and I seem to bounce off each other, it was a real blast and pleasure. We just had so much fun taking the mickey out of each other with jokes and banter flying around, a great way to spend three days.
Will try and put some pictures up later, mine are OK but Thelma got some brill ones with her super deluxe top of the range camera. Hopefully she will get her computer back in about 7 days time to post some pictures

Well I think I commited the cardinal sin today  :(  :o  Went to the photo shoot and left my camera at home. Still once the pictures are published next week they will send me copies to add to my website and portfolio so should be OK.
We ended up putting over 30 flowers inside some 12 & 18" clear balloons, to say my hands and fingers ache is an understatement.
I could certainly do with a hand massage, they are wonderful and very relaxing.
Will put the pictures up when I get them.

I bet your hands really do need a massage after that.  I know how much it was hurting when we were working it out.  I too have pictures to show and no means to put them on here are the moment.  Such a shame.  I have photos of the flowers in balloons and also I did something to your dress Graham.  I turned it into a sheep.   And I turned the top I made into a bad tempered vicious dragon head.  I have taken photos and will post them a.s.a.p.

Had an Idea when at Thelma's but we ran out of time. In my head this was not how I wanted it to be but I do like the look of the first picture.

That is nice with a capital N.  Gotta have a go at the idea.  I am getting fed up not being able to post pictures.  By the time I get back to normal the photos will be old news.  I can't really see what is going on with the second picture.  Can you explain it.  Is the stem going on down all the balloons or just the first two?

Been playing around again and this is what I had in mind when at Thelma's but couldn't get it right in the last set of pictures.

This is about 90% of what I was thinking it would look like so am pleased with the outcome, not sure how practical or useful it may be but you never know;

The stem of the flower goes through all the bubbles with no latex around the stem, on the previous pictures there was also a layer of latex around the stem making it look unsightly to me. I have another idea that may work, but then again it probably wont. The only way to find out is to try and then when it doesn't work it may look like something else or give you another idea to try.

Graham, that last one is very, very cool!!  Holy cow you two have been busy, it's awesome to see what is created when two great minds get together.  I really like the orangish flower too Graham. I think the colors make it really stand out. Nicely done base Thelma.
and don't worry Thelma...even if it is so long that your pics are old news...it's okay...we still want to see them all :)  Can't wait!
Have a happy day <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=\":-)\" title=\"Smile\" />

Useful?  All knowledge is useful! You may not ever 'need' to recreate this particular design again, but the knowledge gained will probably help you with some other project that comes up.   :)

Thanks for sharing all the pics.  They are quite spectacular!

Happy twisting,

Just finished off the dress that I started last week at Thelma's. These pictures are with the mannequin fully open and stretching the dress open.
I like the open ness of the waist area and the dress seems to have better shape to me.
