Title: Helium
Post by: ab-fab-balloons on February 15, 2011, 10:18:05 PM
Im thinking its time to compare the cost of Helium again near Tamworth, Staffs just to keep my current supplier on his toes.  Any ideas?  Given its price Im looking at what I can replace with air infalted balloons in the near future.

I have found prices to depend on how much you are buying and who you buy it from

I usually buy N20 as thats light enough to transport, larger is the job warrents or I have a few very close together.  N20 cost me about £47, plus deposit 3.5 for amonth plus vat.  Any one local beat that Pam?

That's the same as I pay down south in Essex for my gas. the N bottles are better for me as they are lighter than their BOC counterparts and they actually work out better value for money as you pay more but get more gas.

Nikki you have not necessarily paid too much. I pay that because I am a member of a gas club at one of my wholesalers and have to go and collect it and drop it off again. My local wholesaler is a lot more expensive and my local place that hires helium out to the public is yet more again!
