Quote from: "Danny the Idiot"Yes Graham.

Perhaps a list of DVDs, books, shops (especially Sempertex!) of balloon stuff. Also Websites of interest to balloon folk.
AND reviews too!

So its in one convenient place as a resource to help "to improve our art."

Further to this: I have just received the latest issue of balloon magic - there is some good stuff in there but overall I didn't think it was brilliant. I was wondering if you had thought of starting something similar based around sempertex balloons? I know from conversations that i've had with other twisters that an online version of the magazine would be really useful.

I realise that this is a much bigger project than something on this site - but I wondered if it was something you had thought about. I suspect that if it had good models, was available online and could be produced cheaper than balloon magic then it would be a big success... just a thought!

Could we have a 'swap' section? For example, I have an unopened bag of qualatex mixed 260Q that's sitting in a drawer at home. Don't like them, prefer the thicker sempertex ones and I'd hate for them to go to waste. Anyone want them?

I'm inclined to agree as I keep popping my Q's so I shall hopefully have a bit of a spend at Mildenhall  :D

from what I see we already have something of an online mag here, interviews, pics, reviews, the only thing I would suggest in topics is be careful that we don't have to many topics running as to many will put twisters off as much as to few.
I think it's best to run with what we have and let it grow and evolve as we go along.

I would like to put the front page into sections so that it breaks up the look.
It seems too bland at the moment, that's the joy of buying a template.
I have looked at other forums and you can add & change the style but I'm still lacking the knowledge required to make the changes.
The person who designs my website; http://www.grahamleesmagic.co.uk is going to design a new page to sit on the front of the forum.
He did http://www.chippychat.co.uk if you would like to view. Our front page obviously will be balloon related.
Your suggestions are always most welcome.

How about a section with photos of all 'wearable' balloons. When I do walkabout, I always try and make something the child can wear, hats, bracelets, suits, rings, basically, anything as longs as it's worn.

Here's one of my favourites at the moment for when I do a girls party, she gets 'Bubbles' my crazy horse, called Bubbles because he's blowing bubbles on the end of his tongue. Always a good one for the pics after.
