At the moment I have no idea as it only arrived yesterday and I have been trying to catch up on paperwork as I was in America for 10 days this month and then 6 days away in Blackpool. Hoping to sit and have a look next week.

I have seen this advertised, and was very intrigued about it, particularly as I live in a fishing / diving town, and have a diving centre 10mins walk from my house, so refills would be no problem at all.

I look foreward to hearing further reports on how you guys get on with this.
Kind regards
Kevin

I'm also interested in your review.  I too live by the ocean, and have at least 3 dive shops within 5 miles of my house.  Can't wait to hear what you have to say!

This is what I have been told, I have not checked myself in the real world but assuming that if it will inflate 300 balloons fully
then it will inflate approx 500/600 as we do not fully inflate when twisting.

The bigger cylinder will inflate approx. 300 of 260Qs or 600 of 160Qs, the smaller one half as much

I had a play with this when Graham bought it to the Exeter Day. First impressions were how bulky it was as a carry around pump.

Then the price ....way over what I could afford.

On the plus side, it was absolutely silent in working, and the trigger/valve attachment was very well designed to fit in your hand, and very comfortable and easy to use.
Kind regards

So, Graham, you've had a magic flate for a while.  Do you mind sharing your thoughts?

It's great, works a treat for 160/260's. I used it when at home and it sat on the table.

Yes, I know this thread is two years old.  However, I'm needing to get another floor pump within the next few months and this thread was roaming around my brain.  I have a filbert and mini mac already.  I'm curious about the air craft.  I tried one at twist n shout last year, really liked it,  but I'm wondering if the sideways nozzle presents issues long term.  Do you mind sharing your thoughts?

I used the pump at home on a big build and it was fine for 160, 260's I think for 350 it would use up the air too quickly if you kept on having to drive off to top up the tank.
If you have a tank to hand to do this then it would be OK. I still have the sample model here with me, perhaps I should ask if they want it back or auction it off on ebay ;)

Thanks for the update, but I think I need a little clarification...are you talking about the Air Craft or Magic Flate?  I'm wondering about the Air Craft, with the sideways nozzle.  Does it work well for you?  I'm debating purchasing an Air Craft or another Mac Min.

You've only had the demo for 2 years.  That's practically no time at all, right?

oops! I was talking about the magic flate, the aircraft is great, I really like it.
The only down side is when it's hot you are unable to blow air onto your face for air conditioning as with the McPump.
It is also available custom made to be the correct size and the top section un screws to fit inside a suitcase.
Mind you the McPump you can buy like this now as well.

Been watching this thread closely, The faster I get at twisting the more time the pumping seems to take with a hand pump. Not sure I want to rely on power or compressed so looks like a floor pump for me.
