Having nearly run out of Big Bear Heads and seeing all these wonderful new designs I thought it time to order some more.

Brilliant communication from Shonna and team about stocks - we are all so lucky that Shonna has worked and pushed hard to get all these new colours in BBH.

Katherine at Adventure in Fun had my order packed and posted within an hour of me ordering, what wonderful service.

600 Big Bear Heads now winging their way to my balloon bag and in so many more colours than last time!

     

I also ordered some big bearheads from Shonna and she and her team couldn't have been more helpful and not a bad price as they're being shipped to the Uk. Can't wait for them to arrive now. Think they will make fantastic princess doll dresses amongst other things

I agree Shonna and her family offer a fantastic service. If you are able to it would be great to see some of your bear head designs.

Thank you for your kind words.   I never really planned on selling balloons; there is a lot of work involved and already lots of great distributors out there.  My love of the Big Bear Heads has turned into an obsession and I am glad to share my ideas and colors with all of you.  

I have just ordered some gray because it is requested so much for Mice, Cats, and Hippos and I have a few new designs that would look best in Gray.  

I will be sure to let you all know when they make it here.

Once you start using the Big Bear Head balloon, you may become addicted to it.   There are so many ways to use it.   I absolutely love this body design that Ken Stillman shared with all of us.

I have stopped posting some of the ways I use them for a few reasons, but mostly because I would like to see others use their creativity and get credit for designs.  

I can wait to see what else Sonia and the rest of you do with the Big Bear Heads.

             

Hi Shonna It was Kens video that opened my eyes to the bear heads If anyone isn't signed up to balloonclick.com I would recommend it I don't always end up making a lot of the models but have learnt alot of techniques you can then adapt to your own designs
Since I have now got all these gorgeous balloons am thinking of other ways of speeding up done of my designs as weaving is often very time consuming and it freshens up my models

There are plenty of ways to distort the shape to come up with some fantastic easy designs.
My whale is honestly my favorite although the very basic shapes and uses on My Quick and Impressive DVD are the ones we use the most.  
I was actually working Wednesday with another twister who makes some adorable dogs, but the crowd was choosing my style.  Actually the majority of the people wanted my designs over his cool artist figures similar to Buster Balloon and David B. because this was for the pre-school/kindergarten crowd and the parents and kids thought they were so huggable.  
The other twister actually asked to buy a bag of big bear heads from me 30minutes into the gig that we worked for 3 hours.
He had used up 50 big bear heads by the end of the 3 hours.   He is now a convert, at least if he will be working with anyone from my team of balloon twisters.

I have to say, that experience made my day.
I constantly hear the artist who make very beautiful complicated balloons be surprised at the actual response from clients.   Must say I have had quite a few local twisters/artist start using the Big Bear Head after working with one of my team members.   We all laugh because once you see first hand how effective they are when used and inflated properly, you can't help but what some for yourself.  

All of my team members are eagerly waiting for our custom order gray to get here!

Must admit they take a bit of getting used to in terms of manipulating the air having never seen one before and popped a couple forcing air into the ear lobes but am getting there with them now! Decided to try and recreate some if your masterpieces Shonna to get a better feel for them - started with the smurfs My other half who is a split between oh god not another balloon/ and a connoisseur if what is a "great"model (and my biggest critic) and what isn't thinks they are brilliant! There is a free you-tube video that shows how to inflate them and make the basic shape.

Just look up Simply Shonna or Shonna Flanigan or Adventure In Fun.   You should be able to find it.

Am pleased they bought a smile to your face Shonna I really like the balloon and am gutted I didn't order your DVD at the same time I ordered your balloons. Can you post the details of your DVD (I definitely think these models are worth a plug) and your crowds are right about the hugability of the balloons - it was the first thing my 4 year old nephew did when he saw them but my mother-in-law also wants one lol. Are your DVDs available as downloads Shonna?

Also your artwork on your models is amazing. What pens do you use?
I have a pirate themed party to do later this month and an definitely going to be making a few of your pirates So quick and easy too as my customer has ordered 20 themed models to be suspended from the ceiling. They come out a very good size too which you can't see so well from photos if the models.
You definitely have a convert here. Now going to see if I can convince enough people so that graham might stock them?
