I'm just back from the wedding of the day.................or is that year?
or possibly wedding of a lifetime, I will post more about this later
but if you did get an invite and were unable to attend you did really
miss a fun and FABULOUS day. Pictures to follow.
This was one of the last pictures we took of the day but thought I would post it here first.
The chain is from Larry Moss and Kelly Cheatle who kindly let us re-produce it for
Paul and Ruths wedding.
The reason we wanted to make it was that when Paul first saw it on the internet he wanted
to purchase it as a gift for Ruth at the wedding. He really thought it was a charm
bracelet to wear around your wrist. I had to let him know that it was actually balloons.
So thought it would be a nice thing to surprise them with.
I pre-made a few items to help with the décor that Roger was in charge of and organising.
Please note the White sheep.................for Paul ;)
We did change the look of the heart once we got to the wedding venue.
Lyn wrapped the present.
The designs on the centre displays.
Congratulations Paul.
More centre pieces.
The giraffe coming together.
The charm bracelet that Paul saw online and thought it was a genuine bracelet.
We were all working away till quite late the day before,
it was past midnight by the time we left.
Olivia trying to decide on how to make the legs for the giraffe.
Outside the church before the ceremony.
And here they are..................MARRIED!!!
The wedding venue.
We had tea and cake at the church before going back to the community hall for the wedding reception.
The cakes were amazing, absolutely lovely.
Heather who we were sitting with did the artwork for the balloon designs.
She will be making these available for purchase if anyone would like
to purchase some for their menu boards.
The animals that no one wanted, these were on the list but were not chosen to be made.
The close up of the beak of the parrot that David made.
Getting ready for Paul and Ruth's entrance.
Roger made the swords and button holes.
The big entrance, it was fun.
The food was very tasty and nicely presented.
The speech's were all very good with humour in them all.
Ruth's dad, Paul and then Pauls elder brother.
Notice the hat Paul was wearing, he was so excited to get that hat.
Paul's younger brother and then some of the games for the evening.
I then went in and had a look at the petting zoo.
I did say it was a different kind of wedding.
Luckily the animals did not have a little accident down Ruth's dress.
We only just finished the food and more came out for the evening.
There was more cake :)
Should Paul be allowed sharp objects?
It was then onto the last part of the night and the balloon/magic show.
After the presentation of the emergency toilet set and the charm bracelet..
The last of the pictures from the wedding.
