Loving the use of technology that people are using to enhance their pictures. Parapsychology, magirob and others. What are people using, apps? Software?

I generally positionion my pieces in front of a large piece of cream card, then I either use this as the back ground, OR I cut them out and put on another background. I use photoshop for everything I do :D

Models in a photoshop background look great, but the problem is that there is noyhing to gauge the size of the model by.

When I do bride and grooms, and need to give an indication of size, I photograph them next to a Champagne bottle, or kids stuff next to a Coke bottle.

A good thing with Darren (Nippy)'s photos taken at the foot of his stairs in his reviews is that you can tell the size of the model by the brickwork behind it.
Kind regards

Having tried a few apps today, I am going to leave the photo editing to someone else. I shall stick to my lounge door and hallway for now ;)

We use a black sheet of material thrown over a projector screen, it's not very high tech but it works. But it does take a while to put up, so we only tend to use it when we are taking shots that need to look perfect. I started using this when we were decorating the front room, basically to stop all the rubbish being seen in the background, it looked quite good so have just continued using this method. KJ my partner has been on a couple of photography courses and we invested in a new camera last year, so she tends to know what she's doing. I however just point and click ;) .One day when we are rich and famous we will probably get proper photographers background, as I figure that this should be easier than the method we have at the minute. I know the same effect could probably be achieved via photo editing software, but I just don't like using it very much, and prefer to make it naturally. I have to agree with Kevin it's great the way that Darren uses the wall, as the sizing can easily be seen by the bricks. With a plain background it's much harder to gauge the size of the model.
