Can anyone offer suggestions for simple models with a Pirate theme. please.

Yonaimy has a tutorial on a parrot which is simple and she is always a great 'go to' on Youtube. Hope this helps.  I make the usual alien body and add the pirate head balloons to it pink for girls and black for the boys.

You could do a one balloon parrot with two pinch twists for feet - these will pinch fabric and sit on your shoulder
