I have just taken the plunge and ordered a mobile credit card terminal so no matter where we are we will be able to take credit card payments for the first time.
Hoping it will be all up and running in a couple of weeks.

Our credit card machine has arrived and we can now take payment over the phone for those that wish not to pay via the website and PayPal.
We will also be able to take credit cards at the care & share days and conventions.

Good old Royal Mail, we had an order in last Monday that we shipped out on Tuesday first class signed for and as yet it has not arrived. The customer is annoyed with us, now I appreciate he should be annoyed but I feel with Royal Mail as we did post out ASAP, Royal Mail then inform the customer that we shipped his parcel second class which was not the case so good old royal mail have cost Lyn and I a customer.
I decided to get in touch myself to see what was happening and got informed that a first class signed for parcel can take, now wait for this up to 15 yes 15 days to arrive, what great service. Just wanted to let off a bit of steam.

I got my parcel this morning - thank you for a fine service. They tried to deliver the package 7.40am on Monday morning but I wasn't at home I was in Devon with the Exonian Magic Society day. But I have everything now. Its well worth paying the extra postage to actually receive your order!

 

Yes it may be time to drop the £6 postal charge and just start with £9 and then everything can go with the courier for a next day delivery. UPS have been good with a 99% next day delivery, now and again things go wrong due to lorries breaking down etc but at least you know exactly where the parcel is all the time unlike Royal Mail.

The Sempertex assorted have just come back into stock along with Fucshia, Bubble Gum Pink and Lilac.

I've had problems with UPS in the past. Qualatex sent me parcels, next day delivery, and it took over a week. Their computer showed no attempt had been made to deliver. Qualatex, after a few days had passed, paid for Saturday delivery at extra cost, and they still didn't attempt a delivery.
I've heard similar stories about other companies.
You can't rely on anyone.

In the six years we have been trading UPS have only let us down twice with next day dellivery due to a lorry beakdown so we are pleased with them.
Unlike Royal Mail who say there first class service can take up to 15 days to deliver, we have had a few go missing these last couple of months as well.

My last order was with me in less than 24 hours, can't ask for better service than that  

We have just re-stocked and all the prducts on the Qualatex website are now back in stock, Wild Berry in the 6" heart is also now a stock item.
We are having a mini sale on the Sempertex site. I found some balloons hiding in one of many boxes we have, for what is available; balloon-sale-t4532.html

We have started to stock the Jewel Magenta and the Quartz Purple as a trial to see if there is a demand for these products,
we have finally got all the Qualatex neons now back in stock as well.

Qualatex price increase, the price increase is only on a few items, 350's, geo's and donuts. The 350's is only a small increase but I do need to check the increase in the geo's and donuts as it seems like it may be up to and more than £2 a bag.

We have Qualatex 350 white and 260 Neon Pink back in stock, we are also stocking 6" Alien heads in festive assortment 98601. I will add them to the website tomorrow.
