I thought I'd go back down memory lane a little and have a look at some of the older balloon
designs from model of the month. The first one I looked at and that caught my eye was
the guitar from May 2010 so nearly 10 years ago.
The original guitar was made for a photo shoot that we did for comic relief.

The instructions are here but I have changed the design slightly.

More pictures from the photo shoot are here,

The guitar below is for a left handed player.

This is the original guitar that I made some 10 years ago for a photo shoot.

I just added strings to the new design and when doing thought they possibly
should be in grey for metal strings so they show up. I made in clear and
you can only just about see them along the length of the guitar..........Ooops!

Next design I'm re-visiting is the Formula 1 racing car that was made was back in 2012.
Some eight years ago now, I was rather chuffed when I came up with this design.

On the original the engine was double stuffed with black inside Silver to get
the chrome engine look. Now we have silver chrome so its a lot easier.

I have added some extra 160 to the mid section of the car below steering
wheel and also between the lower and higher section of the main
cab 260 for a softer rounded look for the upper car.

Plus a slightly larger head rest in 160 and chrome for the engine.

I have gone back to sponge bob this time.

The original was a hat and the instructions were posted in Nov 2008 so some 12 years ago.
I would still have a go at making version two but getting ready for a big magic convention
we are attending and having a dealer booth so it will have to wait till I get home.

I changed the teeth and added some artwork.

The snail was from my Geo DVD that is possibly over 6 years ago.
It had either 3 side wall bubbles or a side wall bubble and two raisen twists.
It was that long ago I'm not 100% sure and I have not played the DVD to double check.

So the newer design has 2 raisens but could as easily be done with 2 side wall bubbles.

The purple and yellow snail, I did try the design with just attaching the knot
from the geo to the underside of the base but I did not like the look of
the geo edges not sitting close enough to the lower body.
In the picture with the angle etc it does not look to bad.

Face on view of the shape of the geo's, the originally does have a nicer curved look.
