I have been asked (read volunteered by my wife) to do some twisting at my daughters school Summer Fete next month for about 1 1/2 hrs.

Im far from being experienced at twisting so im thinking of keeping to probably 4 shapes, dog and gun are relatively certain. Rabbit and a sword were the other 2 options but the rabbit I make is the one that has its front legs between its hind legs, and the sword is very basic.  What would people suggest that goes down well with primary school kids but isn't too complex.

I haven't ruled out blowing up a balloon and drawing 2 eyes on it and handing it out as a snake!

I also like a bit of magic so going to take a couple of simple tricks to break it up a little.

Had a go at both, can do it better with a 160s instead of 260s. I keep running out of balloon / over inflating to get the 260s right

Ive managed to master one of the bears, a gun and a good old fashioned dog. What's good for a primary school aged Boy? Again with the caveat of simplish but looks good

Have a look at chitwister on youtube, he has some simple but effective designs, a lot of them using two balloons. You should be able to get a few do-able designs as he has posted over 100!

And a selection of bears, the hat was entirely intentional and in no way did I get the inflation slightly wrong and not have enough un-inflated room to make the body!

I made a couple of things to take along. I had a look  at Grahams vase last night but possibly due to the rum my wife had given me it confused the heck out of me so I ended up with a simpler vase.

Dog and Sword were the order of the day with a couple of planes and a couple of flowers. Planes and Flowers with 2 / 3 balloons for £1 and 1 balloon models for 50p. I made somewhere in the region of £30 to £35 which im really happy with and really enjoyed doing it.

Thanks to those who answered questions and helped me work out new things
