Hi, i did a fundraising event at a local department store and we couldnt make the models fast enough, they sold like hot cakes.
However after 4hours twisting my fingers got very sore. I wonder how i would manage if i had 4hours work most days. Does anyone have any tips about prevention or treatment please.

I use some creme to keep my hands from being effected from the talcum powder. But other then that I noticed that it is a matter of practice, in the beginning I had trouble when I twisted for an hour and at my last gig I twisted for 5 hours without a problem.

And wim what about when tying geos? lol  :D

Yeah I tend to just moisturise my hands after a day twisting - it doesn't stop them hurting but it does help them recover!

Haven't you heard Bickers? It was not me but the Geo's were wrong. Even Ralph Dewey could not tie them .......
Apparently I had the "old style" Geo's which had very short necks. I tried tying the new Geo's, no problem!!!

And yes, moisturizing is all I do too.
