I bought a couple of Stanley organizers from B&Q - £6 each, they are similar to the 'toolbox' that Graham has mentioned he uses.

I use 1 for 260's and the other for everything else.

Neil... I had the problem of lots of bags of mixed balloons too, but after the MCR C&S day I bit the bullet and colour sorted them. I now have a decent stock of each colour in the toolbox and the rest in their own bag (stored in a cupboard).

To be honest I think I will now re-stock in single colours as I seem to use more of some colours than others, and also the counts of each colour in the mixed bags are by no means equal.

Back to storage... I would like to move to a busking bag but until I start getting out there and twisting in public it just seems a bit over the top.

Martin.

I use a shoe storage system that is designed for hanging in a wardrobe made out of a strong material, each unit has 10 storage compartments that will comfortable hold 200 balloons each

Can't remember where I brought these. They hold about 300 balloons each.

I've seen this on Youtube

VIDEO (//http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=I0k_iHb_sZM)

I do the same thing, I use zip bags (for freezing), one per color, I empty air in each bag,  I store them in a cooler box and I put it in my garage to keep it fresh.
When I have a gig, I put in this box an ice block (don't know if it has a special name in english) coiled in a towel (to keep the humidity inside the towel and not transfered to zip bags or balloons).
