To 350 or not to 350?

That is the question! I have only really used 260 balloons and found I could do most things I wanted to. I still only twist for pleasure and so was wondering if it is worth investing in 350s so I can explore other models ( for example the model of the month which did not look good with 260 tyres).
Any advice for a novice is gratefully received.

I would certainly reccomend getting some.

Obviously you will not use as many, so get a couple of bags of mixed colours to start with, and have fun  :D

Yes indeed. 350s are useful as are 646s and 160s and... and... It is never ending!

I remember asking the same question a few months after I first started twisting, and now I have every size and shape in my bag - be warned to buy a 350 is the start of an addiction! Think they should put a health warning on the packets Lol Once you start adding extra sizes and then shapes it opens up whole new possibilities...

Thanks very much. It is already addictive, reckon my wife might have to find a whole new level of understanding if I go down this slippery slope! :D

It is a slippery slope but a wonderful journey.  You won't believe the depth you can add to your creations with the different sized balloons.  I would definitely start with a couple bags of assortments just for practice.  I just upgraded from an apron to a triple busking bag to accomodate all the different balloons I use.

BTW...I've been doing balloons as a side business for a couple years now and my wife still doesn't understand it.

Good luck and happy twisting!

Thanks,

 Michael

Think about lego.  Imagine if all you had to build with was one size of lego brick.  The look of sculptures are just so much more aesthetic. Almost every sculpture i make now uses at least 2 sizes of balloon.
