absolutly invaluable. Talk about being stitched up in work. I do a lot of twisting for open days, fun days and other events.

I was asked to do a presentation about our company rebrand (Riverside Housing) to a partner company ( Carr Gomm ) at their divisional staff meeting, the quote was 'only about 10 minutes, its informal and bring some balloons'

So after many hours working on a power point show I trundled up, set up with the screen and light pro, all 'business-like' thinking I'll be out of here in ½hr and then home free for easter.

10.00 - 10.15 Riverside update
10.20 - 11.30 Balloon workshop
11.30 Break

So I thought 'brilliant, theres a balloon workshop I'll hang on for that'

Then the penny dropped I was doing it !!!!!!

Oh Boll0cks.

So luckily 'Have balloon bag will travel' in the car. So after pumping about 100 balloons up in double quick time. i though 'Oh sh!t how can I make a poodle last over an hour' (There were 15 people there and I did not know any of them)

So thanks Danny for showing me how to put all items in the middle and have them all use them in an unusual way ( Yep they are perverts as well)

Got 15 minutes out of that.

Then had them make a simple dog, followed by a cutless, then they all did a flower (only 4 petals as I reckon the six petal one would of popped too often)

Then I made a big vase type thingy for all their efforts which was a sight.

All in all the stuff I learned on the days both from danny in his skills school and from graham showing how to show people how to twist basic balloons was invaluable.

I learnt always to be ready, adaptable, confident, look as though you know what you doing and believe that you know what you are doing.

Looking back I thouroughly enjoyed it but my hands are starting to creak now.
