After the sucess of the last day we had at our new premises, been thinking....

How about a day of Wedding and party!! NOT traditional centrepieces in helium filled 11" but different things

Like maybe

How to correctly cover a bought frame! from a heart to a star to the walk through/cake table carriage..?
or
making different column designs?
or
using twisted balloons as the base/table centrepiece?
or
using different ways of stuffing different sizes of balloons?
or
using fantasty flowers?

some of my ideas, how about yours?

let me know what you think

Ain't no stopping me now ........

Well done Pam and Paul,  keep up the good work  -  education can only benefit all concerned and hopefully raise the industry as a whole -

Great idea, Pam!

If I can make it with dates etc, I'd definitely be on for something like this.

As an aside, since you mentioned fantasy flowers - I find I can't make a penny on these.  They take me SO long to make, and are so fiddly and sore on my fingers (what do mean, woose?  ;) ) that I'll do anything to avoid making them.

Me too, they take up too much time and use too many balloons for us... the only time I use them these days is if I do a fullsize Bride and Groom I use balloon Carla lillies as his buttonhole, I also use them in a Goldfish bowl display for Wedding fairs, or if I am showing off at the local Church flower Festival (they do amazing flowers, they expect me to do balloons, so I do) it fascinates them but they dont buy ... Its an option others say they have to learn!!! so I added it for discussion to see what others on here think?

Nice to see we work on similar lines of thought

I think it comes from years ago when floristry teachers where predominately the balloon teachers as well and having to comply with their brief of the principles and elements of design, In those days we used to argue but we are balloon artists not florists!! We still comply with it ( I think) but only to the degree we can with balloons

Would not do the whole list, far too many items, under discussions at the moment as to what to do..

Thinking end of May.. a tuesday or thursday so it does not clash with work.. Pm me what dates suit you
