Can anyone help ?
I am doing a job for my church boys brigade, it's their 90th aniversery,
consisting of two coloums, topped with 90, and an anchor, based on their badge.
I can handle the coloums, but  not sure my Anchor, hits the mark ?
main problems, the red cross and letters. i have posted my trial attempt.and picture i am working from.
as an alternitive , should i make frame and use rounds? i have 6 days to fine tune. or drop the anchor, as was an extra.
comments and help please.
Alistair.

I think the only change I would make would be to have the anchor tips the same color as the anchor.  Just thinkin......

Maybe do the red cross in a solid weave?
Add some extra balloons across both the bottom and top horizontal twists so that you have a four bubble either side to help disguise and hide the centre part.
Difficult to try and type what I'm trying to say but I think it will make it more solid looking.

Howabout twirling a couple of 160's for the chain of the anchor that runs behind.

And has been said already be consistant with the colours.

Looking good though.

Idea, how about using a 160 for the rope and adding the un-inflated around, similar to what Pieter van Engen did on his rose and Twistina on the handbag handle she made at a Birmingham day. Just off in search of the said handbag, maybe back in a minute.

Found it, in Yellow and with a few more turns of the un-inflated and closer together this would look pretty good.
