I am typing up my very first decor contract/booking form/invoice at present and am using NABAS' template as a guide.

One of the terms is to do with payment and methods thereof.  I don't technically accept credit cards straight from a client but will accept paypal payments and without having seen the NABAS contract it would never have occurred to me to charge a service charge to cover my paypal fees.  However, having had a quick look at the paypal site I cannot see how much I would get charged for accepting payment this way.

Does anyone else accept payment via paypal and if so do you charge a service charge or do you just swallow that cost?  If you do charge it what percentage do you charge?

I try to avoid using paypal but I would put a 4% charge for using paypal.

I try to get my customers to use bank transfer a lot less hassle.

Cheers Roger.  Had trouble finding that myself but then again I am trying to do 10 things at once and have the kids bored stupid wanting my attention

I would have charged a lot less so thank you and I hadn't even thought to offer bank transfer either    so I will add that in while I'm at it.
