making things like this,

I'd like them to float.

Currently the armature I make with copper wire. it is slightly heavy, though by my calculations if I fill all the balloons with helium, it might float.

But I'm thinking if I can replace copper wires with something less heavy and maybe more rigid (not brake/deform) at the same time.
I've been suggested to try styrofoam and epoxy so far.

This is just a hobby thing for me so I'm not familiar with those. What will you guys suggest?

its air filled sculpture/design created with 5" balloons

they dont float very long with helium with nothing attached to them, they wont float in a design with extra weight

If you find a way, let us all know

thanks

Hang it with fishing wire and magnets or do what they have done in photo and hide the pole with fabric but it won't ever float. Would recommend a balloon fundamentals course or wedding course where they teach the basics of balloon design :) well worth the money paid :) x

Hi Pam. That's just an example image. The one I made is with 11'' balloons. A balloon like that can float with a led light put in them with 3 button cell batteries.
I've read that a helium filled balloon can lift about 14 grams. If that's true, and please tell me what is, a 136 balloons used for my heart can lift 1.904 kilograms.

Sonia, I don't know what you mean. Btw, I havent asked how to make the design, I've asked how to make it floatable, which you believe is not possible. I can make the designs, thanks.
