Balloon Review 031 - The Spaceman by Shirley Ray

I have always loved Shirley's work and as she will be lecturing in Leeds very soon I thought now would be a good time to review her work.

I ordered this PDF via email. Payment was via paypal and service was very prompt. The PDF itself comprises of 11 pages. Shirley uses a combination of typed text and hand drawings to explain how to make the spaceman. Bubbles sizes are measured in 'fingers' which may be problematic to start with but you soon get to understand how to make adjustments. Whilst not essential, if you are familiar with Shirley's Buzz Lightyear design on her DVDs then it will make following the instructions slightly easier.

If you are a novice twister then wait a while before buying this - the end result is excellent. It took me around 90mins the first time I made it... I haven't made it again since! I auctioned this one for charity for £50.
