I have been asked to give my opinion on this compilation of weapons by Travis Meyers.
It is in pdf format and is excellent.  Very easy to follow and very nicely presented.
The introduction is very humourous and on opening the files I just wanted to throw myself in and start making it all.
I have to admit that I tend to make the two balloon laser gun when asked for one but the other day I was asked for a revolver.
Well this revolver will delight anyone who asks for one, even the adults I think. Very fast to make its a 10/10 from me.
The price is £10 which is great value for money.  So if you have no objection to making weapons, this is a great compilation.
It can be purchased by visiting this address  http://www.twistandshoutballoons.co.uk

Anyway here is the first one

Here is the second model from the compilation.  Tommy Gun
This one is a nice model (for a weapon) but I find it less efficient construction wise than it could be.  The instructions say two mocha and two black balloons are needed plus a scrap of black.  But it can actually be made from two mocha and one black plus a scrap.  It is still basically the same model with one less black bubble at the back and on extra pinch twist instead.  Here are both versions.  I think it would be a hit with the boys.  Using four balloons also adds to the time of construction.  I would definitely like to use this as an alternative to the laser gun I use at the moment but would do the simplified version.  The top model is the four balloon version and the bottom one is the two balloon version.

I just had a word with Travis and he says the reason he uses the extra balloons is so it is the right size and as near to the real thing.  Using less balloons makes it less real.  So ok I concede that one.  I looked at them both and the one with less balloons is a little smaller.

My rating for this one is 9/10  Uses more balloons but quick enough for line work in Thelma world.  Depends on how you do your lines though.

Here is the third one Sniper Rifle about 48" long

The instructions as before are clear, except for a slight hesitation over the scope attachment but this was made clear enough with the step by step photos which make everything clear.  Not so great for fast linework but the boys would be wowed by this.  Hope that does not seem sexist.  But in my experience most girls dont go for this sort of thing.  But boys....

9/10

Thanks for taking the time to post a wonderful review. I was starting to think I was the only one who lived in this section of the forum :-)
