I have seen these heads/hats on the forum and facebook pages for a while and have even made a rabbit using the principal. I really wanted to have a go at the Ninja and so bought this for $14 (around £9).

Clayton (ChiTwist) has a number of quicklink designs available, each as a separate purchase. I would perhaps like to see them sold as a bundle at some point (as I feel people may be able to work out the other designs on the basis of one purchase but want him to make the most of his creativity and ideas in his area).
Branching out from his usual youtube videos (set to music with no speaking), Clayton clearly instructs you on the building of the head. Not having a Filbert pump there was a little guessing for inflation size (as he uses four pumps to inflate eachquicklink). Having said that, I was pleased with the size I did and feel that it would be difficult to get a bad result with slight variations on size.
The head went together really well but it is only when the eyes go in that it really comes to life.
My only concern with the design is that he eyes on this particular hat are not fixed. Whilst they are snug and friction fitted,  I do wonder how long they may stay there in the hands of a child.
That said, this is a great looking design, a definite party add on and large and impressive. You will make your money back on this in one go. Everyone should have a quicklink head in their repertoire.

Hi Stuart

Thanks for posting your review - I no longer feel alone in this part of the forum! I would agree that a bundle price would be better as to buy them all at regular price seems poor value when compared to, say, David Brenion's Masks DVD.

Is this a case of using q-links just for the sake of it? Or do they really make a massive difference?

Cheers

My pleasure Darren.
The issue of using quick links for the sake of it is an interesting one. I have the Brenion mask video also and whilst these masks are much more detailed and always get a great reaction, they can be time consuming. The quicklink head is quicker and can be worn (though seeing out the front is an issue). I think for high impact, minimum time, the quicklink is the way to go. For more functionality with a little more effort and skill, the Brenion masks are the way to go.
(As I said,  I reckon once you have one of these, you could figure out the rest which is why perhaps it should be sold as a compilation to attract and maximise sales)
Again, as always with anything in his review section, this is my opinion and not necessarily how others see it.
Kindest Regards
Stuart
