Make the last 3 finger bubble and attach to the 2 finger side pinch twist, the top of the mouth I make 3 hands in length.

Then make a 2 finger pinch twist and a 3 finger bubble and another 2 finger pinch twist.

Measure another 3 hands for the other side of the mouth and attach to the 2 finger side pinch twist, discard the rest of the balloon.

Inflate the last 260 green balloon and leave 5 fingers un-inflated, make a 1 finger bubble and wrap this twist around the 2 finger side pinch twist.
Make another 1 finger bubble followed by a 2 finger pinch twist.

Attach the knot of the balloon around this pinch twist.

I like to have two bubbles between the upper and lower part of the crocodiles mouth for security in
case one deflates or pops and it all helps the hold the design into shape.

Make a 3 hands in length bubble for the underside of the mouth and then another 3 hands in length to come back for the other side.
Twist a 2 finger pinch twist and then a 1 finger bubble.

The 1 finger bubble then twists into the top jaw side 2 finger pinch twist.

You then make a 1 finger bubble and twist into the lower mouth 2 finger side pinch twist.

I think I switched the crocodile hat around with pictures 19 and 20, so it might be a little difficult to follow.
Fingers crossed you are keeping up here with the instructions, hopefully the pictures are helping even though I turned the hat around, oops.

Discard the rest of the 260 balloon.

I like to use yellow for the eyes but you could use white, you would then use one less balloon in the design as you can use the scrap from the teeth.

So inflate a yellow 260, attach to a 1 finger pinch twist and make a 3 finger bubble and twist the around the centre of the two 4 finger bubbles.
Make another 3 finger bubble and attach to the other 1 finger pinch twist, discard the rest of this balloon.

Inflate the white 260 and make a 3 finger bubble and attach to the front of the mouth pinch twist.
Make two 2 finger bubbles for the two centre front teeth and attach around the other pinch twist of the mouth.

Make your last 3 finger bubble for the outer tooth and discard the rest of the balloon, cut off the excess balloon from the outer teeth.

Add artwork, I like to just have a black line running down the centre of both eye's and a little mark for nostrils.

Once someone puts the hat on...............watch the reaction,
show them how to operate the mouth to open and close it and they run off playing, what more do you want.

I was trying to work out what third design to show from the DVD, I have just watched half of it again
and like the ghost hat and the rabbit hat. The rabbit hat is different to the normal one about as it fits an adult better.

Decisions, decisions and I still have the other half of the DVD to watch yet.

I went with the standard rabbit, this one does fit anyone and also has a little bunny tail.
We started off as per the DVD with the rabbit on the left and then changed things about a little.

I will post all separately and then do one with step by step instructions once I have settled on a design.

I made a few rabbit hats the other day, got way laid with the big over sized vase I made.

So here they are now, this one is made exactly the same as on the DVD.

This one does not have a separate nose, only uses three balloons. I used three bubbles for the back of the head.
On the DVD I used only two, I prefer the rounder look.

This is the one I prefer, I added to small bubbles to the lower neck section so when someone is wearing the hat there is a little movement.
With the others they were solid.
