Ok, this is the first time I have been requested to make a big Boov from the movie Home.  It didn't seem to be that popular of a movie over here in the states so I didn't ever try the characters.  Anyone made one before? I found one small balloon animal but that is it. It is kind of a strange shape.  I'll try to attach a pic of one.

(Side note to Graham, my stuffed lion leg is still in progress - so far lots of popped balloons and broken fingernails)

I'm working on some distortion for the head. I'll post a pic if I actually get one to look right. I am new to distortion and unfortunately not very good with it. (YET!!!)

So, Ive been thinking about this for a few days now and I think the head could be made from a lilac geo, does that help in any way?

Here is the one I made for my nephew awhile back.

Thanks! Fudd - that is great artwork for the mouth!  A geo I had not considered. I think I have a lilac I can try.  I did get close to the head with two 260s and a round inside a lilac round but didn't get the ear attached in any way that looks good yet. I have until the 10th to figure it out- just have been distracted with other projects. Thanks for sharing photos and advice. I'll make sure to take a pic of whatever I come up with!

FullSizeRender 50.jpg[/attachment:1ivrw18e]Ok, here is my "OH" Boov.  I still couldn't get the head quite the right shape. I am  not good at moving balloons around inside other balloons :(. Anyway, In the head there is another 11 inch round and two 260s tied into circles to make a flatish part where his ears are.

My favorite part of this centerpiece is that I used a plunger (from the Dollar store) as the base :).  I always picture OH with a plunger as I think it was in a preview for the movie. I have been using plungers a lot recently- at least for those I know well enough that they will appreciate the humor once the balloons deflate. It is great since it is 1. cheap 2. technically reusable if you want to use as an actual plunger!, 3. can suction to a table if it is windy.

He's great!! Did you glue the ears? I Love the idea of the plunger too!! Is there any chance you could post a photo of it so I can see if I can find something similar over here? Thank you, I know it's a strange request  :D

Yes, I did use glue dots for the ears- wasn't up for getting raisins in there after I spent so long trying to position the inside 260s! But the glue dots seem to be holding well.

I wonder if the Dollar Tree ships internationally?  You could order a case :) But hopefully, you can find them just as cheap there. Here is  a pic- it is the generic plunger look.

Thanks so much. We have £1 shops but I've never seen a plunger! I will keep an eye out though for sure!
