Hello

sorry to be a pain I feel a little stupid but I'm getting desperate (panic attacks) for my son's wedding I've been tasked with table settings and she wants balloons.

So far I've got Deco bubble balloons clear I want to put just married balloons inside and have tulle bow at the top and 2 heart shaped balloons or colour co-ordinated coloured balloons on each side, with maybe the little 11in or smaller balloons at the base of the balloons.

Right so I have an idea of what I need to do but I have got some heart shaped latex balloons and they are cheap and rip when I tie them and its got me thinking the only good balloons I've got are the Deco bubble.
I am using helium as I need to set the balloons up on Friday morning the wedding is on Saturday.

I need advice on where & which balloons to use with the Deco bubbles and how long do they stay up I have also got HI FLOAT and if anyone has any pictures that  they might want to share so I could follow their style.

Its a bit of a mess we all love balloons and I just want to do my best for my son and his wife to be, thank you.

I do not do décor so not much help, the only thing I would suggest is that you should really enjoy the day.
So perhaps employ someone to do the balloons for you so you can savour the whole day and not worry and get panic attacks.

Hello

I'm going to do this, I need to.
I have a few ideas as Ive been looking at some forum chit chat etc.
My main concern is the quality of balloons should I get the best balloons ie QUALATEX or is there another option.

Thanks

Hi Acecaz,

Like Graham, I am not much of a decorator, my main experience of weddings is making bride and grooms (of all sizes from table top to life size) and twisting at the reception, although I have made a few columns.

There are a lot of ideas on google images for décor, and for table décor, one thing I learnt from Roger is that if you rest your elbow on the table, and then rest your chin on your hand, this will give you an idea of the height to aim for.

Wedding guests at the tables with their heads at this height will want to talk to each other, and see each other across the table, so the main bulk of the design should be either higher or lower than this, or the décor will just be put on the floor or taken away.

Also yes, always use the best balloons, either Qualatex or Sempertex (Bellatex) especially if it is for your son  :D  :D

The main difference between the two is the shape. The yellow one here is Sempertex, the pink one Qualatex.

And as Graham says ......... have fun. I'm sure it will be a fabulous day  :D  :D  :D  :D
Kind regards
Kevin
