For a couple of models I make I take a 5" round, put a puff of air in, and twist that in half which is great for those models. However, before I had a break from twisting while my daughter got settled in I did a couple of one off models that required the eyes to be done differently - taking a 260 and inflating a small section of it. I cannot for the life of me remember how to do this however.
I did it for a 350 teddy that had a 160 nose joined with an apple twist. the eyes fit just behind the bubble holding the nose in.
Any help?!
There are three ways that immediately spring to mind - I hope they are of use
Not sure which of these solutions would work best for you
1. Pinch twists separated by some slack
Small amount of air, pinch twisted, and tied off; and put a second puff of air, and proceed to do the same
knot - pinch twist - slack - pinch twist -knot
Make the pinch twists the same size, and pressure fit
2. Cylinder twists - Vertical
Puff of air - tie a knot, twist in half, and secure the stem at the knot -tie off and leave some tail to wrap in the face, or through it
3. Cylinder twists - Horizontal
For those models with ears, why not just tie the knot in the right ear, twist around the nose, and secure at the left ear
Is this what you meant?
