This forum is a great place to learn thanks to all the lovely people sharing their ideas. Also the best way to learn is to actually get your balloons out and have a go, which is great to see thats what you are doing. Keep twisting.

Don't know where this came from. The idea was knocking around in my head but must have come from somewhere, maybee a cartoon, maybee not even balloons, anyway, enjoy :D :D
Hi Phoenix.
I really like that winnie the pooh. ;)
Phoenix. I just love your X-ray balloon.
Has the X-ray been posted on here before?? Not sure myself, but it's a fun and funny sculpture.
Yes I have to agree it is a fun model. Also second the comment about your models Phoenix. And I love the finishing touch of the bees on your Winney the Pooh model. That just adds so much to it.
Hello and good morning !!!!!
The X ray must have come from somewhere, I aways give credit if I can :)
Winnie the pooh did my bonkers little head in :?
I was trying to get a job with a shop here called "Pooh and pals", did the usual suspects tigger, eeyore etc, but pooh is not just a teddy bear in a jumper as I thought. Not easy.
I tried the one on the japanese site, but just could not do it, I half remembered David Grists model, but that was on video, and I can't play them, and Patrick had a great model on Balloon hq, so mine is a mixture of all of them.
When I photograph something, I do like to put it in a little scene. I think it's nice :D :D
PS Pinchtwist
I still can't do roses
HEEEEELLLLLPPPPP !!!!!!!!

I really don't know what to say about that. I would give some instructions but it's the way you give them it's quite a hard thing to show you without you being there!!
All I can say is keep trying.. and if you fail try this rose i think they are very nice...
I know it's in a different language but you can see it quite clearly :D

Y is for Yoga.
Z is for Zeppelin
I've had another look at Pooh's head - would love to see the back of it!
REALLY nice head design
Hi all,
What a wonderful game! Do we start at A again now? I am totally humbled by all the amazingly talented balloon artists you all are!
Phoenix - a good way to practice the weaved rose is by making a mega massive one, where you can get your whole arm in the loop. 3 260s, making two loops each is a good practice size. Dee White taught me a rhythm with it:
Starting and finishing are the toughest part, so cross two loops over, like a pretzel then put your whole hand through the left loop - grab the next one pull it through till its base is sitting over the base of the right loop, then hand through the new loop, grab the next one, pull it through till it's over the last one......
reverse the order of the last three photos!!!
the last loop can mess with your head, just follow the same rhythm and hold on to the loops that are already made
Once you've complete the loops, it might be a bit messy, or not at tight as you'd wish it, so tidy it up from behind - pull every other loop into a neat, even pattern, so you can only see 6 balloons coming out of the centre.
Hope this is of help
