Thought we'd better start off the games again.
I think Dave showed this to me at a care & share day?
Please feel free to start any other games that you fancy
What a brilliant plane, is it a single 260? If so what size is the final model?
Pete
Yes just one 260, it's on the small size. Didn't measure so not 100% sure.

Sean, how did you do that? Would be handy to know that technique.
I've been working on some new designs and I have one starting with "F" that I'm just dieing to post, but I have to wait for someone else to post their "E" sculpture. It's been two whole days since Graham posted his dolphin, and still no "E" :( :(
Oh sure I could go ahead and post it in another section but what would be the fun of that? :D Besides, for the most part these internet games are as close as I get to being able to jam with my fellow balloon artists.

Here you go Bonnie ;)

Thank you Patrick!

I used Photoshop.
on a layer above:
1. Select tool (circle) - Make a circle the size you would like your eye to be. [edit]>[fill]>[I chose black]
2. Select tool (circle)- Make a circle for the outer ring. [edit]>[stroke]>[I chose 2pt black]
3. Select artwork layer (not photo) - [Filter]>[distort]>[Spherize] this will give it more of a 'ballooned out' shape. I know it's hard to tell on just this little bit of artwork, but on a larger endevour, it will be the difference between looking like it's drawn on something flat over your balloon vs. drawn ON your balloon.
I learned most of my photoshop stuff from here: http://www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/photoshop (http://www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/photoshop)
Thanks Sean :)
when I get a couple of minutes will have a look at the tutorial as well.
Here's my attempt, dont think I done it quite right as I couldn't move the eye around after I coloured it in?

Patrick, your artworks are always wonderful, your twistings too, of course!!
Bonnie, it's really cute, but I often say that when you post something, you must think that I repeat always the same thing :D

Every time I see where you say something I make is ''cute" I just pretend you are talking about me. ;) (joking!! ) I appreciate all complements no matter how they are worded. :)

Hey Daniel,
That could also be a judges wig (or what ever it's called??) :)
Jewelry (bracelet, ring, and necklace) I tried to wait it out and let some of you others join in but I guess 3 days was about as patient as I could be. When I'm working on new designs it's just really hard not to share at least a few of them. ;)
Thanks Bonnie,
I had a go & it looks like a good design to use when twisting at busy venues.

Daniel, Your welcome.
Glad you like the jewelry and you are right about it being quick enough to use at a busy venue. I had a line twisting gig Saturday (a non-stop, twist as fast as you can, for as many as you can, 3.5 hour line!) where both the bracelet and the necklace came in real handy. I had a little boy that wanted a necklace so I made this design and just used a gold 260 for the center bubble and called it a 'gold medallion'. He was super pleased.
I'm not so sure I like the bracelet design though... It's one of those "if you make one, you have to make lots" type of designs and I dislike making the same thing over and over again.

Yoda

is it OK ?
Non Benoit il faut quelque chose commençant par un K, tu confonds avec le jeu "première lettre, dernière lettre". Mais il est superbe Yoda
No Benoit, we need something starting by K, confusing you with "first letter, last letter" game. But he is great, Yoda
excuse me, YODA is an error. OK, "JewelrY - Yoda " it's another game.
Merci Seb
Benoit, it's nice that your joining in with the games, dont worry about mixing the games up as it all adds to the fun :D

Hi lowe, great design with Nappy,it's vey cute, and the pacifier makes it even funnier, is it possible for you to post some instructions for it (with pictures if its possible for you)i would like to give it a go( it looks that it have the same basics than a lootle but with diferent twists)
Thanks A million
Best Regards
luciocorreia, Could we encourage you to have a go at making the model & then we can all help out with suggestions for improving it if need be. This way it helps you grow as an artiste & while making it othe sculptures will come to mind when you look at the model from different angles & also if you go wrong another design might come from it.
An example;
If you see Bonnie's shell handbag, I was trying to make that without looking at the forum & put the longer twists at the side rather than in the middle which gave a completely different feel & look to the bag, so if I'd just followed instructions this design would not have come about. I have posted it in the same link;
