Title: Christopher Lyle Restaurant Competition.
Post by: Graham Lee on July 04, 2015, 11:40:36 AM
I have just purchased two sets of restaurant instructions from Christopher Lyle, website and facebook details here,

https://www.facebook.com/ChristopherLyle76?fref=ts (https://www.facebook.com/ChristopherLyle76?fref=ts)

http://christopherlyle.com/ (http://christopherlyle.com/)

So we have to come up with a competition and the prize is,
"A 21st Century Guide to Restaurant Entertainment" booklet  plus a 50 minute Skype session with Christopher.

So any suggestions on what we should make to be entered into the competition, food was suggested as it's restaurant work.
But still open to suggestions.

Food sounds like a good idea, I'm trying to think of a competition idea that is a bit different to the normal "who can make the best 'thing' competition" but so far I have come up with nothing, I will keep thinking . . . . can you hear the cogs?

Why not something silly like a 3 course balloon meal?

So lets go with a connection with the restaurant or food idea. The competition will run till the end of July and I will pick the winner out the hat on the 1st August.
You can enter multiple times if you wish.

I put it up as special but will change to Christopher Lyle as that is who wrote the book on restaurant work and who will be offering the Skype session.

We will allow entries on the 1st Aug die to time difference around the world, thanks to those that entered, was hoping for a few more.

At the moment we have four people entered and one has entered twice, will pick the winner out the hat on Sunday so you still have time to have a go.

Flipping bonkers how time flies, and I have lots of food stuff.

I do apologise for sending a bit of an avalanche of stuff at the last minute, but I do like Christopher Lyle's work so here goes.

Incidentally, if I was awarding this on an awesome design, the banana split would have it. Just love that xx

The sea food platter was made for an annual sea food festival here.

Chillies are red hot, but wedding cakes are pretty cool, especially if they are for friends in love

Anyhow, sorry to bombard this at the last minute, and to finish off with something that is not really proper food ..... it is McDonalds

And once again if it was me judging on quality, I still love the banana split  :D
