Title: December Book Competition
Post by: Graham Lee on December 02, 2015, 03:46:12 PM
I'm giving away the Addi Somekh book, "The Inflatable Crown" It's a good one.
If you would like to post a Christmas related design here then I will add all the names into a hat in the New Year to pick a winner.

Thanks to those at The Millennium Jam for passing over a few books so that I could give them away as prizes, muchly appreciated.

I'll post these here but will not be putting my name into the hat to win the book as I own one from years gone by.

I was just looking at the father Xmas hat thinking it's not quite right, this one would be easier to make with three pinch twists at the bottom of the hat.
And I like the fuller looking beard as well.

If your name is pulled out the hat Rob I can send you a 2016 calendar with balloon sculptures on from Rob Driscoll,
not sure if you know him? He did a balloon blog or something like that.
I got a couple extra calendars to give away as prizes for next year.

This is his blog if you fancy looking him up, http://www.mydailyballoon.com/ (http://www.mydailyballoon.com/)

We have just done the draw, I counted up 21 entries but when I counted the paper slips in the plastic bag I only had 20, oops.
I had to double check and we found the problem, rectified it and then Lyn picked out the winner...................

And the winner was Paul, well done and thanks to everyone else who took part.

As Paul already had the two prizes that were on offer we hunted out another prize for him.
The complete set of Rubber Chicken, boxed set that I never opened or even looked at.

It's idea's articles all for the children's entertainer, I'm sure there will be a few good tips in the six volume set.
