I thought we may try a competition, all you have to do is post a dolphin, any variation etc. Best one will be decided at the end of the month and win a free set of instructions.
Off to find a dolphin I have made in the past to enter but I will not be included in the judging
Here is one, if you want to search on the forum for Dolphins you will get many to look at.
Dolphins are one of the most popular favorite animals in the world according to surveys! I'm looking forward to seeing different versions!
Cool Graham, how many times can we enter?

Blimey you don't think I sat and worked out any rules for the competition, how about as many as you like? Is that OK?
Cool, I expected you to have a full set of rules all worked out Graham, all printed up into a 37 page document which has been made available to download in a variety of ways including braille, large print and spoken work :D

I let you down again :( :(
Haven't been asked for a dolphin at all... But I do get asked for sharks quite a bit. Will have a twiddle and twist tonight and she what I can come up with.
Here is a Dolphin I made earlier today, it is based on a dolphin made by Takehiro Kai from Japan.
Rob
This is one I make, it is based on a design by Thelma
Dolphin
Ok here is mine. Sorry it's the only picture I have, and no time at the moment to make another and give him the eyes that he really deserves.
Sorry I didn't get a picture of the dolphin on it's own.

Here's my entry.
Worth a go :-)
Ok, here's my dolphin. It uses 3 blue 260s, a white 260 and a scrap of 160 for the eyes.
Took me a while to get a chance to do this but here we go. A bit of trial and error to get there but I am quite happy with it.
Stuart thanks for posting the Dolphin, got me up and twisting. A variation on your one,
Wow some great dolphins been made here!!
I just had to have a go, i made 160 one balloon dolphin, also a combo of 260 and 160,+ 350 for the other 2 dolphins!!
And all 3 together!! :)
Just a couple more days to enter to win a prize, we will announce the winner on Friday.
My dolphin,

Today is the last day to enter, we might get a flurry of late entries with a little luck and then we have to judge it.
I do have a International judge in place for this competition, and no they are not from Scotland or Wales!
Hi Graham,
Sorry not to have posted earlier, but luckily things have been really busy with events, and balloons for collection.
This is the dolphin I regularly make. It uses 3 balloons, and I timed making it and it takes me 2 mins 50 secs, at a leisurly pace, with a balloon bursting as I made it !!
It is based on a You-tube design, but I can't remember the name of the guy
Not sure if its too late to join in, but here is my dolphin :)
No there is still time, about another 12 mins and then we judge.
It's a long 12 mins wait..... ;)
The judge is in the USA so there is the time difference and also they are working a big festival this weekend.
Any winner :-)
Yes as stated above we have an International judge in America and there are working a big festival this weekend,
they did look and told me who they liked at 5pm yesterday but we then had two late entries so she has to look again to make a new decision.
I made another Dolphin this morning,
Dolphin
We have a winner, firstly Jami asked me to mention Phoenix and his Dolphin in dispatches.......so I have.
The winner is Moonshine, so well done Victor, I will email you so we can get your winning instructions sent over.
Thanks to everyone who entered, we had a good turn out for this one :)
The winning prize was a set of instructions by Jami Krause on..................wait for it..........................
How to twist a DOLPHIN :) :D Well I thought it was funny!
If anyone would like to support Jami and purchase her instructions this is her facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/jamimaria (https://www.facebook.com/jamimaria)
This is a picture of her Dolphin,
Congrats and well done to all. I think it's great to see all the variations on one theme. Big up to the winner as well. :)
Many congratulations to Moonshine, and thank you Jami for the mention :D
As Dan says, so nice to see such a variety of designs. The one I really liked was Danny's. I love the little splashes. I was at a wedding on Saturday and was using this one on hairbands, and it went down really well :D
I was having a play with the dolphin design tonight, a couple of variations on a theme.
