Hello all.
Roger has told me about the ironman competition that goes on at the millennium jam. So we have decided to put the same competition on here.. so here goes.
1.You can use 1 blue 360, 1 yellow 260, 1 red 160, and 1... 6"White heart.
2.You have one week to produce a sculpture from the above selection of balloons.
3.The competition will start on Monday the 10th of May and the closing date for all entries will be Saturday the 15th of May any entires after this date will not be accepted for judging.
4. Graham Lee will judge the first weeks entries and the winner of the first week will be the judge for the following week and the competition will go on for 4 weeks.
SO GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOTS OF FUN WITH THIS COMPETITION.

I love these games, and what a great idea this is. I have seen the Iron man competition in Belgium, and can't wait to have a go here :D
I'm looking for my thinking cap, and when I find it I will put it on!!!!!!

I have been sitting thinking all weekend (can't think standing up!) of what to make and finally its done. Ready to post tomorrow.

Well here it goes. I thought it would be funny to tak the ironman idea and come up with something like that. Here is my attempt and it is Ironman without his helmet on. :D
That is great Kevin. I had to really stretch my balloons to get what I needed from them but it worked so I am happy. I just realised that I used a pink heart. I'm sure I read pink. Please don't DQ me :oops:

I didn't realise we could break the balloons up. Love the idea of making an ironman for an ironman competition :D
Hi guys great sculptures.
Darren the rules clearly state that it's a white heart. But if you have not got the colors then we can alwasy make an expection :D

I don't like the iron man at TMJ, just not enough time to think and to much different colors and sizes. But for balloonchat I tried to make something.
This is something i have only just come up with over the last week.

As I suggested the game I thought I better post an entry.
this is a version of an England wand I make.
For those Scots Welsh Irish, Americans out there you get to put the Gold star on when you have won a football world cup. :)
this is my attempt its a variation on the dino/dragon we were playing with at the Darlington C&S day
I love that dino/dragon. The colours work really well. Well done :)
thanks Darren i think its a dragino or a dinagon or maybe it's just a loop de loop i liked the colours to i will add it to my repertoire for sure
Oh dear... Pinch Twist sent me a message suggesting I join in with a competition. I thought it was only fair that I try and give something back to the balloon community since you've all helped me out and been a great reference point for new designs. Unfortunatly, I'm not too good at coming up with original designs, but I was really quite impressed this morning when my son put on "the suit" ..... Then I went to upload my picture and noticed the restrictions.... Whoops, oh well, here's my Iron Man attempt.

Milo's Ironman costume is great but used more balloons than the competition allowed so the winner is,
Dennis who I believe sets the next challenge and what balloons to use.

Just a few changes to the comp.
As a lot of people may not have the balloons, Graham has offered to post them out to the people that need them for the comp. He will charge a £1 donation for people in the UK and £2 for the rest of the world. (so if you need the balloons for this competition just PM Graham or post it on this section)We have also decided that the ironman comp will be for 2 weeks instead of 1. that will give everyone time to get their balloons.
So this competition will finish on 31st of May 2010.
Have fun everyone with this competition. :D
