H*lls, bells  .............  I just looked at this thread. There's no hope at all for me. I'm miles (no, light years) away from the complexity of this stuff.
Congrats to all - but the posters do read like 'who's who' of balloon modellers

Dave look again, I am in there with some posts and I am by no means an expert. I am in awe of what else is made but the idea of this thread and the forum (as I undestand it) is to help everyone improve. Have a go, anything made well is good. If you don't try you can't improve and if there are mistakes then help is at hand as I have found out. Btw I had a peek at your website and your stuff looks good  :)

I'm in total agreement with Professor T Wist and would encourage everyone to post no matter what level you are at.
The more twisting you do the better you will become, you never end up making it wrong as you've just found another way that it wont work, think positive :D
I wont tell you how many times I've come up with something due to trying something else that went wrong. The motorbike on this thread is an example; http://www.balloonchat.co.uk/viewtopic. ... &sk=t&sd=a

On Balloon Chat we want to encourage everyone at all levels to take part & participate, this is very important to me & hopefully others.
