We are having a competition for September, if you post some of your work in your album you can enter up to three pictures into the competition.
We will keep it open till the 14th Sept and then all members can start voting for 7 days.
I have a few freebies sent from Qualatex and I believe 6 Balloon Magic Magazines and I will have a look through to see what other balloon related items I have,
there is a conwin clip on belt reel as well.
Those who have not set up your album have to go to the UserCP button and change the setting on your profile list on the left hand side of the page.

Fantastic idea. Am away at the moment and can't upload to album via tapatalk so have to wait until I am home and on my laptop to upload a few more images to my album :) x
im so bad at uploading pics. but.... im going to TRY ...lol

if you are just putting up one or two you do not have to re-size now as the site automatically does it for you.
I still re-size as I put up so many and find it quicker.
I made my album just now.
normaly I don't look at my pictures often and now that I see what I make, it is pretty much.
great to have an overvieuw.

Those wanting to enter the competition need to choose up to 3 pictures from the album and put them on this thread, you may think big is best, small is best, fun is best.

Spured by competition, I finally got down to working out how to make an album, and even a non-techno guy like me found it ok to do, so I will add more photos now I know how to do it !!!!!

We have 6 entered so far for the competition, I will keep this open till Monday night when we get back from Birmingham so hopefully a few more will join in and start an album.
Then it's time to vote for your favourite model/picture/compelation to see who will win. It is easy to start your album off, any problems then just psot and ask and I will try to explain.
I Think I have uploaded 3 to mine however I cannot find them again so if someone could check this for me I would appreciate it. I'm not the best with the PC sorry. :oops:
Just hit the album button under your post and it brings up your album, can you pick three and put onto this thread. The judging will start on Tuesday.
There is over £30 of product available to win, may even get up to £50 just for putting three pictures on this thread.

Ok I think I have finally sussed it out (with a little bit of help from KJ!) so here goes :)

Here are some of the prize's available to win, I have 10 balloon magic magazines but will keep 5 back for the next competition.
There are some Haloween, Valentine and Xmas foils, stick on eyes in colour and black and white. A conwin reel, some bubble balloons etc etc.
A little concerned if I have to post to America or Australia. Maybe we can do a instructional CD prize and it can be emailed over if we have an overseas winner,
I'll check on postage first though to see what it may cost.
Graham, I for one (living in Canada) agree that postage would be a killer. It's just fun to join in the competition.

I forgot we had the chance to vote too. Mine has to go to Rhian for her Wonder Woman. I have seen lots of male superheroes, but she's someone who really brings back memories of when I was young ;). Such excellent proportions...and the balloons not bad either ;)

I have been sitting and wondering if I should say anything or just let things be, but hey ho.

I think it's a shame that we have over 800 members and only 10 people enter a competition for approx £50/60 of balloon related products and only nine can be bothered to vote.
Maybe I'm just having a bad day so forget this post but for a couple of days now it has been on my mind, we normally get between 200/300 people a day view the site and this
thread alone has over 500 hits. Oh to get more people joining in, seems bribery does not work ;)
Never mind, keep smiling. Off to do a couple of shows now and maybe a few more will vote in the next couple of days.
While checking the competition I noticed the above vote count was wrong in my post of Friday 21st Sep.

I agree Graham, with all the people in this forum it seems a shame that more did not join in the fun. Life is busy, but I check this forum every day for new posts. The difference for me is that I am retired from a normal career and balloons have taken over my life, and in that way I have more time to enjoy everything I find here.
I agree to. I have 2 company's. 1 in towbars and the other in balloons and a family and i still have the time to react. It's a pitty but the show must go on.
I alway think that i don't post to much figures and when i post them it are designs by others. But i still hope that i have enough time to experiment more with the balloons and show you som designs i made up.
For now i loce this forum and i don't want to mis it. Thanks everybody fir your great ideas an comments that keeps me going on in balloons even i have a little time

Wow! Great show of balloons everyone. Really hard to just choose one... I love the McDonald's cow, the bride, the shark hat, the balloon busker and dog and the ride in cars not to mention all the others. In the end I did eeny meany miney mo and came up with the McDonald's cow :)
I know its not going to effect the leader board but my vote if for Mfloyd's leprechaun. The crazy little fella just won me over
Sorry I haven't entered the competition or posted a photo on the site yet Graham, Uni is super hectic and this forum is my light at the end of the tunnel. I promise participate more as soon as I make it to holidays. I appreciate all the effort that you put into this site, Thankyou for all your hard work

Hi all.
Some really great designs there, i would love to enter my album photos but, my isp is using a proxy server and it wont allow me to post photo's. I love this forum and i read lots of posts, but in regards to people getting involved in games and competitions, i feel like that "balloonchat" is not alone. Many forums on the internet have this problem, so it is nice to see people are taking the time to get involved.
My vote is Micheal Floyd's leprechaun.. I must say an interesting sculpture, to say the least!!
